Meeting on the 28th July 2002
Taken at the Dover Castle Meeting on the 28th july 02 of the South Eastern Section a day which was so hot we were all glad of a bit of shade so a walk inside the `cool` castle was welcome. It was a good turnout as you can see .

The ice cold drinks and wine flowed and everyone chatted to each other about their cars and experiences. Prizes where won for the best Rolls-Royce and best Bentley you would like to take home and the car that travelled the furthest.

It would have been nice to see some prizes for vehicles that are regularly used (not just brought out for these meetings) showing their true wear but valeted vigorously by their owners to the best of their ability and then brought along to these meetings (without them you would see very few vehicles at these meetings) and I am sure it would create more interest in the prize giving perhaps this may happen in the future. But I must say we do have to give our thanks to those members and the commitee that organise these very good meetings and then put a lot of their free time into the paperwork and organisation of our very good magazine

All these photo`s here are supplied by Terry Moxley a R-REC Member and member of of The South Eastern Section ,The Central Southern Section and The Sir Henry Royce Memorial Foundation .They are supplied `personally` by him and and `NOT BY THE R-REC` the reason he does this is to let anyone that has an interest in these great marqué of motor cars [that may not have found the Official R-REC Website`s] get a glimpse of what a great motor car they are and motor car club the R-REC is ,that he is proud to belong to.
